Just a note to say thank you and the Victorian Escapade team so much for all your help organising this event. The bride-to-be and the whole group really enjoyed the entire experience. The whole evening was so well organised, professionally run and highly enjoyable! Even though we were a little late arriving as a result of the weather, we did not feel like we were being rushed through the activity and so we could relax and fully enjoy the experience. Our ‘butler’ was also so professional and added great fun to the evening!

We will definitely be recommending Victorian Escapade to our friends and family. (It is through recommendation from a colleague and some friends that I first heard about the event!).

We had a hen party here yesterday for Afternoon Tea and it was fantastic from start to finish! The staff, games, venue, and costumes were wonderful. Especially our Butler Simon, he was absolutely fantastic, he kept us all entertained from start to finish!! I’d highly recommend it anyone to try. We’d love to come back and try out the Evening option!

We had an absolute ball this weekend, highly recommend! Booked the afternoon tea for my friends hen party. We laughed from start to finish and enjoyed all the activities. The afternoon tea was delicious! The whole experience was just fantastic. We were so well looked after- 15 very happy hens and one delighted bride to be! Thanks so much to the whole team.

I wanted to get in touch and let you know what a fabulous time we had on Saturday at Victorian Escapades. We all laughed from the time we got there and were still laughing when we were leaving. The staff were amazing, I think my sister(the hen) had the best time been thrown over the Butlers shoulders!!! haha. Oh we have the pictures and memories that will last for a long time.

Hi Deirdre, thanks so much for such a great day last Saturday. It was absolutely brilliant. We can’t stop talking about it. Dermot is an asset to YE there, he is a ticket. I emailed your praise to Midlands 103fm thanking YE. YE were brilliant and we can’t wait to go back. Thankfully the farm was closed or we would never have heard of ye. Hi Deirdre & all staff,

We had the pleasure of being with you for Amanda’s hen party on May 26th and I just wanted to say what a fantastic time we all had!

From the minute we walked in the door, we were so impressed with the interior of the house itself & the costume of staff. Our butler Dermot is absolutely outstanding at his job. I cannot stress strongly enough, how much he added to our experience. It really was such a laugh from start to finish, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the day. All staff were friendly & helpful & your attention to Amanda’s mother in particular, was very welcome.

I wasn’t sure about this activity when we were organising the hen party but I can honestly say it far exceeded mine & everyone’s expectations. Everyone in the group really enjoyed our time there & it really set the tone for Amanda’s hen….one of fun!!

Thank you all for the laughter & kindness shown to us throughout.

Well what can i say. Just back from visiting here for a hen party and what a fantastic experience all round from start to finish. So welcoming from the minute we arrived right through to dressing up, activities, afternoon tea and all the other little jobs. Our host Dermot..Mr Henry was an absolute gent and kept us all amused for hours. Thank you all. Definitely recommend this hidden treasure.

I had my hen party here the beginning of February and it was a hoot and a half! Everything was brilliant – the games, the costumes, the staff and the afternoon tea. The costume room is fabulous and the staff are fantastic. “Henry” kept us entertained from beginning to end. I would recommend this activity to anyone looking for a fun and different hen idea ????

My bridesmaids organised my hen party here last month. I had no idea where I was going or what our activity was going to be. I, along with my 18 comrades, had an absolute ball from the moment we stepped through the door. Our butler for the evening was fantastic & created such a fun & relaxed evening for us all. Everyone working there was so friendly & made us feel like real VIPs. I could not recommend this place enough & I would love to return some day!!

Was at my hen here on Saturday can honestly say it was the most enjoyable experience. From start to end the staff were faultless. Its great hen activity for young and old. Our group aged from 22-68 (mothers) everyone enjoyed it and are still talking about how much fun it was. I could not recommend it more from start to finish. We had a Vegan in the group and they fully accommodated her with no issues. Book it for a hen party you won’t be disappointed!!!

Just a quick note to say thank you all so so much for the wonderful experience shown to us at Clonard House on Saturday for my sisters hen day out! I cannot get over how well everything went and the fun we had. I am still laughing about things that happened during our visit. The feedback from everyone in the group was fantastic and each and every one of us is planning a return trip. I live in Northern Ireland and I have been singing your praises to everyone I meet since my return. A huge thank you to all the staff who treated us royally and the entertainment they provided, they were all marvellous. I left without leaving a tip but as I plan on returning in the new year, I will make it up to them then!

Hi ladies and gentlemen of Clonard house !!! I just wanted to drop a note to say how thankful and grateful I am for one of the funniest and memorable hen parties I have ever had last Saturday with you all for Marie Noonan hen party .. We got there on Saturday afternoon and we were greeted by the most sincere and genuine of people … We knew we were in for good fun from the start .. r host was amazing , he was nothing short of funny and just good craic, we laughed from start to finish !! We as the bridesmaids Kathy, fiona and Margaret and the bride Marie and not to mention her hens want to say thank you all so so so much for making it such a fun day .. We honestly couldn’t praise you all enough there … The craic was brilliant , the staff made us feel so so welcome , nothing was a problem we asked for !! The food was outstanding . I honestly can say we were blown away by how fantastic you all were … We have highly recommended you to anyone planning a hen !!! Keep up the hard work , the laughs and the craic. Ye are truly amazing ..

I was on Cloud 9 all weekend and I still haven’t come down yet!! I had an absolutely amazing time on my hen at Victorian Escapades on Saturday 18th February. All the team at Clonard House made it such a memorable, fun, energetic and believable day & night…. I actually believed I was Lady Louise!!!;) You are doing a great job and your costumes and food were also amazing!! I will be recommending Victorian Escapades to all and sundry!!! Clonkill House was the perfect place to stay when teaming up venue and accommodation for the weekend!! Thank you all again!

Hi Deirdre,

I woke up this morning to an abundance of picture messages from the hen party last night and some videos of their antics! I spoke to my sister, the bride, this morning and she said that she had an absolutely amazing time yesterday at the Downton experience. She said her jaws actually hurt from laughing so much. Just want to say a massive thank you to you and everyone who made yesterday so enjoyable for the girls.

Thanks for everything. It’s clearly been a very memorable experience for all. They also were amazed with the photographer and please pass on my regards for his input into making yesterday so special.

Hi Deirdre,

To you and all the staff at Clonard House, thank you all for such an amazing experience!

A group of 15 of us attended the Downton Abbey experience at Clonard House this last Saturday as part of a hen party. I could not pass up the opportunity to provide some feedback to you all.

I have not laughed so much in a long time. Dermot was the perfect host, such energy and enthusiasm. We were all in stitches for every single second of the tour. The attention to detail and hospitality was superb and the meal provided was just fantastic!

We are all gathering all our pictures together to remember the excellent time we all had. I will be spreading the word to everyone I know about the fabulous service and experience you all provided us with.

Wishing you all the very best and wanted to thank you all in particular, Dermot and Deirdre. (Us hens are even going to recreate the Victorian dance at the wedding

I just want to say thank you to you and all of the staff for the fantastic day we had last Saturday. Andy was a fantastic host and all of the staff were so friendly and engaging.

Lydia, the hen, is from Canada so a third of the party had flown in especially for the weekend. They had never experienced a hen party before and they were just blown away by the experience. The rest of the party were Irish, from North and South of the border. To be honest that contingent is a little hen party jaded. However they all loved every minute of the day. Repeatedly it was said that this was the best activity any of us have done at a Hen.

I will certainly be recommending this activity to anyone else organising a hen.

Just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time at the Victorian Escapade! I brought 16 girls there for a hen on April 30th and it surpassed all of our expectations. Also, all the staff there were just LOVELY to us all and so warm and accommodating.
I am wondering how I can post a review? The experience is just so so deserving of it.
